"I am currently on parole through the Region IV Victorville Unit 3 Parole Division.  Due to lack of funding and budget cuts throughout the state, upon my release I was placed at Desert Manna by my parol agent. 

This is a letter stating that without the services provided by Desert Manna, I would probably be living on the street or reincarcerated.

Desert Manna has provided me and other parolees with shelter, funding to obtain identification, food, clothing, and other programs.

Due to Desert Manna's stringent policies that are signed at intake, I have been able to stay out of conflicts that might cause me to be in violation of my parole agreement and back in the custody of the state."

My deepest thank you for taking in 4 travelers from Iowa to start with.

The staff here at the Manna were very pleasant and kind to us.  They were very concerned with my health problems and took time out of their day to make me smile and to make sure I was doing ok.

The first few days were rough and I did nothing but cry but thanks to all the staff, I made it through.

We will be leaving soon and I want to say 'Thank you!' and 'God Bless' and I will always remember you.
