Desert Manna Ministries, Inc.

Volunteers are the backbone of Desert Manna.  Whether you have a little time, or a lot, we need you! 

At the inside commodities window, volunteers:

• Give out bread, pastries, and other donated items from Vons grocery store,
• Fill requests for emergency food boxes,
• Distribute federal commodities boxes,
• Serve lunch Monday - Wednesday and Friday.

Volunteers also:

• Work in our Clothing Closet sorting and hanging donated clothes,
• Pick up daily bread donations from Vons in the Desert Manna van, 
• Sort and stock donations to our pantry,

Seasonal volunteer opportunities include:

• Serving Thanksgiving and Christmas meals at the shelter,
• Distributing Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets,
• At our annual Kids Christmas Party.

Board of Directors:  Our Board is comprised of volunteers who have a passion for Desert Manna's mission.  Please call for a Board application or for more information.
